Hi!!

My name is Safina Pratiwi Putri, i was born on the 21st of January 2002. I'm currently 17 years old. I live in Komplek Alamanda on Tubagus Ismail Street, Bandung. I study at SMAN 3 Bandung which is at Belitung street no. 8.

My parents name are D. Praherdian Putra and Ida Farida. I have a younger brother that is 4 years younger than me, named Aryo Pratama Putra.

As a person, i am very quiet and calm at some moments. I don't talk too much when communicating with others. I sometimes find it hard to connect with people. I never see myself as someone that can easily chat with new people but sometimes when i feel comfortable with the situation, i can talk easily. I grew up in a family that's sensitive with time, we have to be aware of time so we can use that time at its maximum capacity.

At leisure time, i frequently use my time to read or to watch videos or even finish a series or two. My favourite authors currently are Haruki Murakami and Soman Chainani. Haruki Murakami is a Japanese author, his books are fascinating because of the vague language thats mesmerising. All of his books are questioning our believe in this world. My favourite book from Haruki Murakami is Norwegian Wood, it takes us on a adventure of a college student in WWII. Soman Chainani is a Indian author that writes a children novel series called The School for Good and Evil. His series even though it listed as children book bring the complexity of character development of each one of his character. It teaches that a good ending in every story doesn't end just like that and a fairytale isn't as beautiful as they made it seen.

I'm one of the AFS Intercultural Exchange candidate, that's have the bring the pride of my country and my school. This program sends 80 students all over Indonesia to other countries thats partnered up with AFS.

I have a dream to become an architect or a interior designer. I wish to continue my study abroad, and hopefully i can get scholarship for that.

Blood Falls Blood Falls, named for its ruddy color, is not in fact a gush of blood from some unseen wound. The color was initially chalked up to red algae, but a study in the Journal of Glaciology has uncovered its true origin using radar to scan the layers of ice from which the river pours. Located in Antarctica’s McMurdo Dry Valleys, the falls pour forth from Taylor Glacier, and the liquid bubbles up from fissures in the glacier’s surface. The flow was previously a mystery, as the mean temperature is 1.4 degrees Fahrenheit (-17 degrees Celsius) and little glacial melting can be seen at the surface. The longstanding mystery surrounding Antarctica's Blood Falls has finally been solved. The deep red falls were first discovered in Antarctica in 1911 where scientists noticed a river had stained the surrounding cliff of ice with a dark red color. Previously, they had believed it was due to algae discoloring the water, however that hypothesis was never verified.

Invitation Card: Olivia and John's Rehearsal Dinner.

Hello guys! Today I'm going to tell you about my group's creation which is an invitation card. At school we're learning about invitations, so we made an invitation card as part of the learning process.  The theme of our invitation card is Olivia and John's Rehearsal Dinner. A rehearsal dinner is a pre-wedding ceremony in the United States tradition, usually held after the wedding rehearsal and the night before the wedding ceremony. The guests generally include the married-to-be couple and others who form the wedding party. The rehearsal dinner costs are traditionally incurred by the groom's parents. However, modern traditions allow for either the bride's or the groom's parents to incur these costs. The purpose of the rehearsal dinner is for the relatives and friends of the bride and groom to meet and have a good time.
